Blog Rush Beta: Free Traffic for Bloggers

September 17th, 2007 · 2 Comments

Fellow affiliate ninjas! Thanks for dropping by my Affiliate Marketing Blog. Why not stay updated by subscribing to my RSS Feed or joining my Internet & Affiliate Marketing Newsletter? - Rian, Sept. 2007

Blog Rush BetaYou may have noticed a new widget in the sidebar below the recent posts widget. This is Blog Rush, a new blog syndication service by John Resse, that has just entered beta testing.

I removed a few widgets to make room for Blog Rush, to test out the results on my blog traffic. This of course is being tested along side of the Exit Explosion applet. (annoying yes/no?). I may or may not keep this widget, depending upon my test results. If traffic increases substantially over the next few days and weeks, I may carve out a permanent place for the widget into my new and improved blog design (coming soon).

Essentially, Blog Rush is referral based content syndication service, providing another blogger’s blog posts as text links within the context of the Blog Rush widget on my own sidebar. In turn, my posts will also be syndicated and displayed on other blogs that are members of the Blog Rush network.

Blog Rush Beta

After receiving more than a few promotions by some top Internet marketers, I decided to see what the fuss was about and signed up for a free Blog Rush account. The concept is simple being that the incentive to use the widget is that you can quickly generate “syndication credits” based on how many pages views you receive per day. So a blog that receives 1000 pages loads per day equates to 1000 syndication credits, allowing the authors’ own blog post headlines to be displayed on other blogs 1000 times per day.

If you’re also a blogger in need of targeted readers and more blog traffic, I’d consider giving Blog Rush a test run. It’s a free service, rather esthetically pleasing, and if the viral effect keeps up, may become a standard widget among bloggers.

So without going into too many more details, watch the free demo video of Blog Rush in action.

    Hey Rian,

I found your site via the Warrior Forum.

How is BlogRush working for you so far? (I realize you just posted this yesterday.) I watched the video and have been trying to decide whether to try it out. Most of my blogs are in the home and garden area, so I’m not sure there’d be that many other folks using it to make a difference. Think it’ll spread beyond techy/internet niches?

    Hi…
So far, well I’ve got a little traffic from it. I hear there are some bugs still needing to be worked out.

yea,h for you’re niche it may not spread to far. But in the IM niche, its the big talk now and spreading fast.

I can only recommend when you find a similar blog to post a comment about using Blog Rush.

    I’ll keep testing…
