I apologize for any problems accessing my site within the last day. I was doing a routine backup, then an upgrade to Wordpress 2.1.3. I try to update as soon as possible, but 2.1.3 had already been out for a while and I was overdue to upgrade. Instead of a smooth update though, something went wrong and I lost all CSS formatting of my site. All seems to be ok now, but it took some digging through the WP forum to figure it out.

If you’ve stopped by in the past few days, you might have noticed the site was down. In total it was down for more than 6 hours due to a server problem at my webhost, 1and1. Until now, I’ve never had an issue with them, but 6 hours of downtime with no email or notification of the problem, that doesn’t fly to well with me. I’ll give them this one, but if it happens again, I’ll look into moving hosting providers. I’m trying to start a business, and the last thing I need is for new users to come to a flaky webpage.
