Blog Maintenance: Wordpress 2.2.3 Upgrade & Blog Makeover Coming Soon…

September 11th, 2007 · 1 Comment

As an affiliate, I hope you realize the power of using a blog, and especially a Wordpress blog for your promotions. As your blog ages and you gain backlinks, you’ll see it quite easy to dominate the SERPs for keywords you post on. (ie: do a search for “keyword xray” on any engine).

Shhh! Secret “Affiliate Ninja” URL Keyword Generation Tool

September 7th, 2007 · 4 Comments

If you’ve recently purchased the heavily hyped “Affiliate Rockstar Status” (I didn’t jump on this bandwagon), you’ll be presented with a strategy on using web URL’s as keywords. Essentially full domain names, partial domain names, and variations there of become highly targeted keywords for your PPC campaigns.

For example: “www.affiliaterockstarstatus.com” and “www afffiliaterockstarstatus com” become keywords in addition to your normal brand/product targeted keywords.

Free Traffic With Mobile Advertising

August 26th, 2007 · No Comments

I recently had an idea that I want to test, and if proven effective, would be a great way to get free traffic to my websites.

Recently while selling my two cars, I created a quick 1 page web site, threw up some car pics and a some Adsense code for good measure. Then I painted my URL on my car windshield. I was able to get some traffic and a few Adsense clicks. (not to mention about 20 phone calls). From the web logs, I could tell this was type-in traffic and not from Craigslist (which I had also advertised on).

Exit Explosion: Just Go Ahead And Try To Leave My Blog…

August 23rd, 2007 · No Comments

You might have noticed that when you attempt to leave my blog, an exit pop up appears with some random ad.

That’s Exit Explosion at work.

What is it? We’ll, actually I just learned of it today from a promo email from Wes of Keyword Xray. Exit Explosion is a new traffic exchange strategy that sends you other people’s traffic. Essentially, once you sign up to the Exit Explosion network, as a member, you are able to piggyback off high traffic websites.
